“the material on 'titan woods/ancient forest' was recorded in two
periods [august-september 02 and december 02] and is supposed to be understood
as the musical expression of human's natural roots still to be found in modern individual's
unconsciousness. in this archaic state of existence no exact seperation of
material and spirit is made and mythological elements are mixed together with
rational experiences. this unity of materialism and spiritualism is symbolized
with 'the tree' (woods/forest) reaching both, earth and heaven, i.e.
consciousness and unconsciousness. the contemplation of some
archaic times of humanity would truely be a step backwards, but not to repress
spiritual experiences and the unconscious, eternal symbols and pictures of irrationality
could be a method to seek harmony in this material post-industrial society.”
