Nekraina from Odessa, previously known by their interpretations of the songs of Death In June, in 2002 have recorder their first album, mostly based on their own musical and text material. Several songs of other authors still present on this album, they aren't typical covers but further variations of them.
The album "Apocalytstva" is quite hard, but electronic Lo-Fi sound is atmospheric and dark moody.
On the formal level it is possible to compare this sound with latest DIJ, Moon Lay Hidden Beneath a Cloud, etc.
It is necessary to make accent on the ukrainian texts and impressive design of the CD. (label info)
